Enter the site through one of the three options below depending
on your Financial awareness, time and type of information you
are
looking
for. The three main entry points are:
- Money Matters – is an in depth body of information
covering 9 main financial topic areas from ‘What money is’ to
the ‘Implications of finance’. Use this section
to get an in depth understanding of practical finance or as
a reference
you will return to for information as needed.
- Life Changes – is a set of guided tours which draw
upon the information contained in the Money Matters and Workshops
sections. The guided tours point you quickly to the relevant information
to save you time. There are various life changes covered from ‘Expectant
mothers’ to ‘Losing your job’.
- Workshops – is a set of highly visual activities,
quizzes and exercises, for those who want a lighter bite of family
finance. This area has some exciting and interesting features to
get you started. It contains items not available in the other two
areas, so take a look even if you have thoroughly explored the ‘Money
Matters’ or ‘Life Changes’ sections.

Moving between pages
There are quite a few ways you can move between pages.
- Browser back button – user
your browser buttons to turn pages.
- Page footer buttons – use
the back, home and top buttons at the bottom of every page.
- Breadcrumb trail – at
the top of every page you will see a blue link trail (called
a breadcrumb trail) you
can click any of the blue links to move directly back
to that page,
including the home page.
- Site map - the
site map (found in the ‘Help and Support’ menu
links) takes you to a page which displays all of the main
pages in this
resource and how they link together. You can use this to quickly
jump to pages which are difficult to find through normal navigation.
The site map also gives an overview of the site as a whole and
what it covers.
